Residential & Commercial Re-Roofing
A full tear-off and replacement is the largest investment most owners make in a building's envelope. We plan it like one: measured precisely, scheduled tightly, and documented from first tile off to final walk.

Primary Roofing replaces roofs on custom homes, multi-unit communities and commercial buildings throughout California, with a concentration in Orange County, Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire and San Diego County. Every re-roof starts with a site inspection and AI-assisted measurements, so the bid you review reflects the real roof, not an estimate from a satellite photo.
During the job, you receive drone imagery and video updates, and our digital workflow keeps the office, the crew and your project contact working from the same information. When the roof is complete, you get a closeout record of the work performed.
- Full tear-off and deck inspection
- Sheathing replacement where required
- Underlayment, flashing and ventilation upgrades
- Tile, slate, standing seam, shingle or low-slope systems
- Drone and video progress updates
- Final walkthrough and closeout photos
Re-Roofing: common questions
How long does a re-roof take?
Most single-family re-roofs are completed in several working days once materials are delivered. Larger custom homes, tile systems and multi-building projects are scheduled in phases; we give you a written timeline with the bid.
Do you re-roof outside Southern California?
Yes. Re-roofs, large re-roofs and new construction are available throughout California, including all of San Diego County. Repairs and leak service are focused on Los Angeles County, Orange County and the Inland Empire.
Can you match my existing roof style?
In most cases, yes. We work with S tile, two-piece Mission tile, natural slate, standing seam metal, shingles and low-slope systems, and we help source profiles and colors that suit the architecture.
